Why corporate events work well with golf simulators
Golf has a unique position in corporate culture — it’s aspirational enough to feel premium, accessible enough that non-golfers participate without feeling excluded, and competitive enough to naturally generate conversation and camaraderie. A golf simulator captures all of that without the 4-hour time commitment or the country club exclusivity.
The best corporate simulator events use the activity as a backdrop for human connection, not just a gimmick. Guests are watching, coaching, trash-talking, and talking shop in ways that don’t happen at a seated dinner or a standard happy hour.
The right package for your event type
Company holiday parties and office events
The Birdie (4-hour) or Eagle (6-hour) package is typically right for office parties. The key variable is guest count — if you’re hosting under 60 people, Birdie gives everyone at least one meaningful turn at the simulator. For larger teams, Eagle or a custom runtime through our Albatross tier.

Client appreciation and VIP events
For smaller, higher-touch client events, the simulator creates a natural activity loop that gives guests something to do while conversations happen organically. A closest-to-the-pin contest with a leaderboard gives everyone a reason to stay engaged throughout the evening. The Birdie package with contest add-on is the standard setup for this format.
Sales kickoffs and team-building events
Tournament formats work especially well for internal team events. We can run a structured bracket-style competition with team scoring, head-to-head matchups, or a straightforward longest-drive leaderboard. The attendant manages the entire bracket — you just show up and compete.
Trade show activations
This is where our corporate offerings come in. Trade show activations need custom branding, lead capture, and data — not just a simulator dropped in a corner. Albatross — our custom corporate activations tier — includes:
- Branded on-screen graphics and sponsor overlays with your logo
- Live leaderboard display
- Lead capture integration
- Post-event reporting on engagement and participation
- Extended runtime and multi-day options
Logistics for corporate planners
Certificates of Insurance
Most corporate venues require proof of insurance before approving vendor access. We carry comprehensive general liability coverage and can provide a COI within 24 hours, naming your venue or organization as additionally insured at no extra cost.
Payment terms
Corporate accounts can request Net-30 payment terms. Standard bookings require a 50% deposit to confirm. Contact us via the corporate inquiry form to discuss account setup.
Venue requirements
For corporate venues — conference centers, ballrooms, hotel event spaces — we need a minimum clear area of 12–15 ft wide × 15–25 ft deep × 10 ft tall, plus access to a 110V outlet within 50 feet. Most standard event spaces accommodate this without any modifications.
“We’ve set up in corporate ballrooms, hotel conference spaces, office lobbies, rooftops, and convention hall booths. If there’s power and clearance, we can make it work.”
Multi-market activations
Summit Mobile Golf operates in Denver, Austin, and Honolulu — three markets where we maintain local teams and equipment. For companies running events across multiple cities, we can coordinate simultaneous or sequential activations across markets under a single corporate account.
Making the event work for mixed audiences
The most common corporate concern is the non-golfer in the room. Here’s what actually happens: our attendants are experienced at bringing hesitant guests to the mat. The beginner game modes, the fast feedback loop of seeing your shot data, and the casual atmosphere of a party environment means most people participate regardless of their skill level.
We’ve run events where the highest-scoring player on the leaderboard was someone who’d never held a club before. That’s the point — it’s entertainment, not instruction.
